It applies to all users who register on the Site (each, a "User"), whether using the Site's free personal/business finance tools or the services of a partner accounting firm ("Partner Accounting Firm").
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Basic Registration: full legal name, date of birth, marital status, occupation, government-issued tax identification number, home or business address, and email address.
- Supplemental Registration: any additional information and documents (in PDF or other electronic format) requested by a Partner Accounting Firm to provide accounting services, such as proof of identity, business formation documents, or financial statements.
- Billing information: name, billing address, and payment details, provided directly to us or to a third-party payment processor.
- Communications: information you share when you contact support, complete a form, or interact with our chat or WhatsApp channels.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and general navigation activity on the Site.
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and similar diagnostic information.
- Cookies and similar technologies, used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used.
1.3 Information from Partner Accounting Firms and payment providers
Financial, accounting, and billing information exchanged between you and a Partner Accounting Firm, and confirmation of payment status from payment gateways or payment facilitators ("Partner Payment Providers").
2. How We Use Information
- To create and administer your account and provide the Site's free finance-management features;
- To connect you with the Partner Accounting Firm you select, and to transmit the information and documents needed for that firm to provide its services;
- To process payments and manage collection of Partner Accounting Firm fees on their behalf, as described in our Terms of Use;
- To send informational and promotional notifications related to the Site and its services, by app push notification, email, SMS, WhatsApp, or a notice on the Site, as authorized in our Terms of Use;
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms of Use;
- To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations; and
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- With your Partner Accounting Firm: the financial and accounting information you submit is shared with the Partner Accounting Firm you have engaged, solely so it can provide the contracted services. The Partner Accounting Firm is an independent professional or firm, not an employee or agent of the Company.
- With Partner Payment Providers: when you make a payment, your billing and payment data is collected and processed directly by the Partner Payment Provider you are redirected to, under that provider's own privacy and security practices.
- With service providers: vendors that help us operate the Site (such as hosting, analytics, and communication tools), bound by confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons: when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our Users, or the public.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection of your information under this Policy.
4. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures, consistent with industry best practices, to protect registration, financial, and billing data, including password protection and restricted access to confidential records.
